Most executives come to positions that require them to serve as a company spokesperson without having developed or practiced the skills to succeed in that task. With the proper preparation, executives can bolster their company’s reputation within a wide range of audiences with minimal investment, making interactions with journalists, analysts or bloggers valuable and productive.
Unlike most media training programs that focus on defensive tactics to employ with journalists, BMLI’s Senior Spokesperson Development workshop is designed to prepare executives and refresh executive corporate spokespersons with the skills they need to be successful. The session focuses on teaching tools and instilling confidence to proactively interact with media, analysts, bloggers and the public.
The core curriculum includes:
- The Changing Chinese Media Environment
- Message Development
- Media Handling Techniques
- Role-playing Exercises
- Handling Tough Questions
- Full day (7 hours): typically 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
